Q: Do I need to be tall and thin to be a model?

A: Some clients book tall and thin models for high fashion print work and runway. However, there are amazing opportunities available to petite and plus size models in print, commercial, trade shows and more!

Q: What should I wear to an audition?

A: Every audition is a job interview, so you should look your best! Your agent may tell you to dress “nice casual”, which means NO denim, t-shirts or sweats. In some cases, your agent may instruct you to dress in a very specific way to suit the character; for example, if it is a fitness commercial audition, the client would request talent to wear workout attire. Dress appropriately for every audition to make a great first impression!

Q: I am running late to my audition! What should I do?

A: If you are running late, contact your agent immediately. They will be able to notify the client. When you arrive, offer a quick apology for being late and try to focus on doing a great audition. Don’t make excuses and tell them about your flat tire, traffic, etc. The client needs to keep the audition moving forward!

Q: What does an agency do?

A: We are the liaison between the client and the talent. We actively seek auditions and opportunities for our registered talent. Once you land an audition and you are booked, we negotiate the best rates on your behalf. We also make sure clients are legitimate and will pay in a timely manner.

Q: How should I prepare for an audition?

A: Be sure to get plenty of rest the night before so you look and feel your best! If you have been given a script for the role, become familiar with the lines. When you arrive at the audition, take a deep breath, smile, listen to direction and most importantly, be yourself!
